Software
Install acceptable versions of Microsoft® Internet Explorer and Microsoft® .NET framework
before installing the Bavarian Technic cable drivers and software program.
Check system requirements for details.
Install the USB cable drivers first, then install the Bavarian Technic program:
- Bavarian Technic cable drivers
- Bavarian Technic program version 1.8.5.3. (If updating, uninstall previous versions first.)

The Bavarian Technic software for BMW is only compatible with Bavarian Technic cables. It will not function with any other diagnostic tool or cable.
